The Butt and Pass Corner System

This corner system was created in the 1950's and is the most popular, and economical corner system.

Dovetail Corner System

This corner system is one of the oldest log home corner systems, it is very strong and durable, the logs securely interlock together to create a strong joint. Due to its shape it does not loosen but naturally wants to tighten. Since the top is angled it provides excellent water runoff. Another pro of a dovetail corner system is the tongue and groove on the top and bottom of the log has been cut off to shape the dovetail which allows it to have a greater cosmetic appeal.

Saddle Notch Corner System

This log corner system is  one of the most recognized. This will create a strong home that very weather resistant, and will fit even tighter over time. If you desire minimal maintenance with an old-world look this is the corner system for you.

              Corner Posts
This will provide a very distinctive, clean look with a boxy, modern design and will also be more cost effective than some of the other methods. The corner post seals the joints making this a durable and weather resistant method. This system has the versatility to allow the natural expansion and contraction of logs as well as create a tight joint. (We supply the post for this corner system and it is notched by the builder.)
